In his written statement, Savaşan stated that there were attempts to make polemics about “who the Prime Ministry Science Board consists of and how it works” and continued as follows:

The committee, which was formed upon the invitation of the Prime Minister and the assignment of the universities in question and coordinated by me, also included Pharmacology Professor Dr. Ibrahim Benter and Molecular Genetics expert, MP Dr. Jale Refik Rogers is also on duty.

The evaluations of the committee are recorded in minutes and decisions are put in writing and then submitted for the signatures of the committee members. Signatures are obtained with wet signatures or digitally, as was the case for many meetings during the pandemic, and decisions are then submitted in writing to the Prime Minister.
